Sorry to rate yours video negative.I do mainly Just sounddesign not music but i own for this as well most of yours libaries... Anyways there is 1 hour 30 minutes for demo. And you did not come to the point to demonstrate the eq in this time? and no ideas of using different sounds together. say strings from spitfire and from another libary also strings with different articulations. no talk about how to set such in the same room just isolated sounds?no inuitive design ideas. i own the Berlin Studio since their early version but never did update for good reasons. They insist to use stupid iLok. iLok is acting like a trojan horse and it does not protect realy. at least you pay double. There are other downsides with iLok and i can not recoment Samplicity as company and nothing there is in yours review. By The way i did through away my well sorted VSL libary and lost arround 7000.- Euros when the did move to iLok. Same when GPU audio did move to VSL i did suddenly stop any support i have done during developement. I run 3 Audioservers up to 1500 GB Ram each and each server have double CPU with in summary 64 Cores. It seems Samplicity set more importance to iLok than to their own product to improve. i say just no... other mothers have also nice childreen where i can spend my money i am working hard for. by the way in my last video i did upload i was thinking about to set the sounddesign to Berlin studio because to give more room not Berlin studio to the instruments. By the way i need serious ideas and not nice words like:" I will use it in any of my work in future. You did not. Berlin Studio comes impressive with Percussion and Drums as well with sounds Like Spicicato or stacato - short attack time but loose when it comes to pads or legatos.

@@jackspring7709 yeah it’s definitely its own mix of tools rather than something straight up playable at all times. Maybe look into Fracture Sounds Hemisphere. Many assume because a person who has a bad attitude or good attitude in a seemingly opposite situation that there is something wrong with that person. Rather the person who shows a good attitude in a bad circumstance is demonstrating their ability to choose how to behave. It starts from inside the mind. You cannot choose your consequence you can choose your attitude about it.

Appreciate the review! I am between this and Tympo, what do you suggest? Thank you!
@MarkusJunnikkalaАй бұрын
It really depends on what kind of a sound you want to go after. Soulfi is darker, smoother, softer, whereas Tympo is more modern and edgier. But there is a bit of overlap of course. I'd just listen to all of these presets from both and go with the one that speaks more to you! Thanks for watching 💪🏻
@uhu4677Ай бұрын
11:51 Indeed. The reverb is really, really good. The following sequence sounds so real .. so physical .. and very fresh and open. That's of course also because of the niceness of the DX7, which is replicated perfectly here. But the reverb is really adding a lot as well.

Love your reviews as always! Question for you if you'd be willing, I love the ambient style sounds you always have at the very beginning of your review videos----the music playing in the background while we wait for the video to start. Would you be willing to share some of the tools you use to create these textures and sound beds or are these from Bioscapes and Lunaris? As always, total dig your reviews, they are some of the best on KZbin that help me decide if I should shell out cash for a library. Thanks man 👊
@MarkusJunnikkalaАй бұрын
That music is my track 'A Memory of Earth'. I don't remember exactly, but I think it's mainly using an Arturia Solina V, one of the string presets, and then through a big ambient reverb. Sounds like there's some fluctuating strings there too, probably layered in some Cinesamples Cinestrings harmonics and went back and forth on the dynamics. Galaxy Instruments Una Corda has some ambient pad piano presets which I used as well. Male choir is Strezov Wotan, female choirs might even be a Kontakt default library thing, I'm not sure whether I had Freyja back then. I think that's all I can remember! No Bioscape or Lunaris on that one, got them far later. Thanks for watching as always! 💪🏻
