Took mine out for the break in period, fired 300 rounds of Winchester 124 NATO, followed by 50 rounds of Magtech 124.. all shot smooth as butter. I was expecting to have issues,, but i'm happy to say i didn't have a single one.

Nice, but I wouldn't shoot Blazer out of a compensated or ported gun. The box says not to and many manufacturers will void warranty for plated ammo...not to mention the possibility of the jacket sheering off and cutting you up when it flies through the port

Trevor Roe, the CEO of Shadow Systems clearly stated. A minimum of 124 grain ammo for full pressure through the compensated XP. And NEVER use Blazer, it turns the inside of the comp a blue/green color. I just hit 2,700 rounds through my XP. A mix if JHP & FMJ. I have not had one single malfunction of any kind. Trevor also says that it needs a 200 round break in period. Either way, my has been absolutely flawless.

@@BanditApache-nd6lu I know. Just happened to have thousands rounds of blazer’s so I would test them anyway. I had no issue at all. Btw, I have shot with Federal’s 115 too and it was good. Well, I think I was lucky LOL

Did you shoot 8k 50p with a battery grip? There is a time limit if there is no battery grip, but is there a case where it turns off due to heat rather than a time limit? If so, is the R5 raw heat level before the old firmware update?

I only get the footage from my friend. But I think he has shot with the grip on. Just like the R5C, it needs the Type-C PD connected to be able to shoot 8K RAW
