Terrible to harm animals just for pleasure

With taxidermy the animals used are mainly from road kill

A huge majority of people who hunt and get these mounts also use all of the meat we can off of the animals. It's how we live and what we eat. It's how we all used to live
@Vegangiselle5 күн бұрын
@ it’s the actual killing part that is a immoral. It’s unnecessary to take an animals life especially for pleasure, but it’s also unnecessary to take anyone’s life for food as well when we have so many plants we can eat.

Not one single note of today's country "music" sounds country whatsoever. The good times are really over for good. Nice work on the mount tho!

I mean, it’s good, but like, that was a ton of needless effort for a small bull like that. I’ve always gotten the head form and stretched the face over it first, gotten a dowel and a paddle bit, mounted head form to the body form with the singular dowel and rotated until it looked the best, then gorilla glued the two faces of the forms together, glued the hide to a roughed form, 60-80 grit sand or rasp for roughing, and tucked the contours with an awl. Don’t tell me I’m wrong, 17 consecutive blue ribbons says you ain’t shit and ain’t never been shit.

That sir is Non typical. Not uniform on both sides. A big fucking 6x5 but still non typical.

Definition of typical
@kylejwest410Ай бұрын
Being a 6x5 doesn’t make it a non typical. That extra tine doesn’t share a common base
@Official1616ClubАй бұрын
If that tine is more then 15 inches on antler difference from his left to his right side it constitutes his as a non typical. If that tine shares a common base he is non typical. If he scores 195 as you claim that would have to be AFTER that entire tines length is deducted from his score for not being uniform.

Personal opinion, I've never cared much for the sneak mounts. To each their own, just not my thing.
