what your doing is a good starting point. (if the poundage is 10-18 lbs) if you have a release you can tie on a small strong piece of cordage to simulate a D loop and the feel against the release hand.

Is zipper less doors to much to ask for?
@workingclasshuntertv6 ай бұрын
There really isn’t a better way for a blind door that is quieter or crazy expensive. Typically your movement walking to the blind scares animals more than the noise of a zipper door.

unbelievably unique and clever name for a hunting industry brand lol . good grief.
@workingclasshuntertv6 ай бұрын
The company name comes from the owners podcast name. No need for a clever name in this industry. It’s more about the product.

What's the cost of this particular ladder stand?
@workingclasshuntertv6 ай бұрын
That particular stand will be available later this year. All of River’s Edge ladder stands will feature the Lockdown strapping system from now on. It makes for the safest treestand you can buy. Last years lockdown stands ran around $400, but there will be better pricing options starting this year.

I have the Ox 4 and the zippers are obnoxiously loud and I'm guessing they are on this blind as well seeing how you didn't put opening them in the video. I love my blind but the zippers are so loud I resorted to climbing in and out of the windows.

Product is absolute garbage, I’m glad you had better luck. Spent nearly $1000 on the four units, Solar chargers, antennas and extra ground batteries. The base barely talked with cameras less than 100 yards line of sight, nowhere near the advertising range, and after fiddling with annoying issues like not communicating to the base at all, or camera sending the same picture 50 times like it was on repeat, bad SD cards etc, finally two of the cameras had failed motion sensors rendering them expensive, useless bricks. I’ll never buy this product again. I’m happy it’s working for someone else-power to ya, but for me I’ve learned my lesson and Covert is OFF the list and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I own the sub 1XR crossbow, and one of the things I did like about it was the ability to do things, like what you were doing, Without using a press. At the time that I got it I was considering entering competition with it yet I haven't had the time to do it. I have even committed to not using it as a hunting crossbow because I wanted to commit it to only competition. Ever since the end of last hunting season I've been considering changing my outlook on that and actually using it as a hunting crossbow as well.

I've had great luck with these units. I like to run mine in the tree with me as a cover scent. I run the Conquest Scents Evercalm cartridge. I've taken 2 bucks this year with this setup and both spent at least some time down wind of me.

I told Covert I would help them advertise. Base unit was shutting down a few hours after I walked away from it. Had to drive 2 hrs unplug the battery plug it back in and repeat this cycle until the off-season. Using it as a trail cam and also for trespassers. Sent in the base and they sent me a replacement quick turn around. The replacement out of the box will not upload to app. Currently 12 hrs fighting with linking. Covert refuses to believe it's the base. 35 emails later and trying to get a return authorization. Stay away from this system. I have $1200 into it and will probably sell it for 300. Would like to see this video a year after actual use.

Is the base a camera or only a transmitter
@louispaffel9646 Жыл бұрын
Base is just a transmitter, receives the images then sends them to your app.

@Isaacmantx2 жыл бұрын
The 1100 yards is the average best case scenario listed for other LoRa devices, but a LOT of that is based on having a quality omnidirectional antenna. I wonder if they are just quoting LoRa industry standards and cheaped out on antenna quality. If the antennas are swap-able with standard third party stuff, upgrading would probably solve your problem. There are even directional antennas on the market that would DRASTICALLY improve range when pointed in the correct direction. LoRa is an amazing communications platform, and I hope other manufacturers jump on board with its use. Hate to hear that this first deployment of it shows less than ideal results.
