Interesting that this would be on public television when I think it’s more common for politicians to be corrupt than people grifting a couple hundred from government benefits here and there. What about the the rich people using tax shelters or people in charge of non-profits actually profiting quite a bit through government payouts. That’s a much larger scale grift. Obviously the people on this show are in the wrong. Definitely not cool at all to take social housing set up for disabilities. There are never enough council houses that are disability friendly to begin with so it’s really scummy to take one and then not even be there. It’s wrong on a deeper level to take from the disabled than the partners trying to grow some weed on a quick come up. That’s more plain stupid than it is malicious.

I looked into buying a council and housing association property and I was shut down. The housing association company said to me that they had sold 1 property in the past 15 years. So now I believe that when they say loads of ppls are buying up social housing that's why there is a shortage, it's a massive lie!

I have 7 children in a 3 bedroom council house . I am not moaning . Im glad i have a roof over there heads. I make do with what i have .

I am grateful for the council , by helping me find a home for me and my children. Homes are so desperately needed . Hand it back if you do not need it anymore.

This is disgusting. My cousin who lived in West Drayton (Hillingdon) was actually disabled and waited 11 YEARS to get an apartment that was suitable for her. She is paralysed down one side of her body since birth and the apartment she got has damp which the council is taking ages to fix. Unbelievable that the councils don’t doa thorough background check and it’s the people who suffer. Disgusting.

There seems to be an awful lot of people employed by the public sector, who are working their butts off doing their jobs with diligence. While many people who are not in investigation, are pinching property they are not entitled too. Civil Servants don’t have to do their job properly.
