What is the name of the syndrome, please. I can't catch what the mother is saying.

No way this child would have been sent home after two weeks in any competent US hospital.

Why didn't they just leave the tube down her nose? Our daughter had one before she got a g-tube. It's very dangerous to put one down because it is too easy to get them into the lungs. The repetitive placement is also bad for the delicate tissues. After placement, they always checked placement with an x-ray. I wonder if the repeated placement of the NG tube caused the NEC (necrotizing enterocolitis), which is basically the death of the gut. It's a big-time killer of preemies. TPN is a feeding of the last resort. It's very dangerous because it's really hard on the liver.

How could there be a hospital, let alone a maternity hospital, that doesn't have many physicians physically on the premises at all times? Obstetrics is a risky profession. Heck, here in the US if you're about to give birth if possible they try to hold off until a physician is in the room.

I have a special child as well. She has a rare genetic disorder and had a stroke at 7 months old. She’s 30 now and still a little sparkler in my life. ❤️

I just don't think doctors today should keep a sick baby to live a life of disability.they conduct painful procedures when they cant give them anesthesia which is cruel to me. Its not that I dont love kids I've had four. I just see it as lifetime of pain for her.

Imo, it's sorta cruel forcing babies to be born to suffer. A lot of disabled babies require many surgeries, etc.
