Regarding 2 Corinthians 10:4, it appears that your understanding is that these strongholds, or fortresses, are within the mind of the believer. Yet the passage speaks to waging war against forces without, that we "be courageous against some," (v 2).

When I was a kid I was friends with ( Trump’s old attorney) Micheal Cohen’s little brother. He told me they were Satanist and the star chart was their God. Said his father was his older brother and he slept with his Mom at aged 12 to make him. Said he was to be killed- sacrificed. He then died. The teacher tried to say he just got sick but I knew. He was fine and then that very weekend he expected it and told me he died. That hurt and scared me because his brother and my brothers were into D and D and threatening to kill me too in a large group. I was abused and locked outside and my brothers would laugh and threaten me saying Satanist were coming for me and going to cut off my breasts. I tried suicide from a dried blowfish they gave me. I almost died and nobody even knew why. My brother too. I also tried suicide again and my dumped me off far from home in the winter with no shoes. My whole small town ostracized me making fun of me and I was locked outside many summers forced to sit alone in my yard like a dog. The boys would circle around me saying “ die Katie , die” over and over every chance many years. Said they were Nazi and I was their slave and a black person. Nobody would help. I never recovered.
