Related to the last question and the overall topic, it seems we are at a stage where it is being recignized the importante of biomes around plantas and their relationships with ours. Aboveground plant biomes are also conforming an open field! By sure, answering the question of why plants respond so well to rain water is more complex and interesting to study than the conventional one, focused on minerales that this water contains.

Thank God I found this video, I am a small gardener that is putting high tunnels up and want to garden in them. I need to do soil regeneration within these tunnels. I will send my water and soil samples over. Is vacuum sealing a bag ok? Also what about GPS coordinates of the area? Also you have Crop what about multiple crops for my case which would be multiple vegetable crops within a 30'x 72' area.

Everyone is hyper fixated on the Energy Industry and all the models are based on emissions. Where's the Rhizosphere? Industrial Agriculture has dug up, burned away, and kept poisoned 40% of Earth's land. How is none of that carbon in any of the models? Is the carbon footprint of BILLIONS of hectare containing 60% of terrestrial biomass somehow inconsequential? Or did humanity poison the atmosphere with the decaying corpses of trillions of organisms, while in same motion undermining the ability of that global ecosystem to recover carbon? I don't wanna see or hear a single syllable from anyone about the climate crisis until the lost Rhizosphere and all the continuous slaughter of every single organism that dares even approach Industrial Farmland is fully accounted for in every model. Every climate model has to be exactly as wrong as this missing data. There's no reality where this much life being destroyed and gassed off has no carbon footprint. Climate smart is not enough. "Amplifying Soil Health" is a blatant lie. We have annihilated a LARGE majority of all terrestrial life. We can't just send it to the Spa for a glow up. We have to undo the vast almost incomprehensible harm our delusionally wasteful and disruptive agricultural industry has caused. And we need to start 10 years ago. With millions of Dirt Farmers, on every continent. Or there is no future. Not for us, or any other terrestrial life on Earth. We've destroyed most of the Life on this planet. There's no "sustaining" what's left. We've gone well beyond all that. We either set humanity by the millions toward the task of restoring the global Rhizosphere, or we pack it in. There's almost nothing left to sustain.

Congratulations on your hard work, your commitment to creating a world with an earth that continues to produce food from a living soil base with lower industrial energy costs. To make us see that there are allies under our feet when we travel our farmlands and that, without them, if we do not take care of them, we could become extinct, because we would no longer be able to produce food due to the high costs of refining.

Will the galvanized bucket add zinc to the sample?
@biomemakers Жыл бұрын
Hi! Thank you for you question.The time that the sample is in the bucket is minimal before being transferred to the sample tube. It is highly unlikely that any significant amount of Zn would be added to the soil sample from the bucket.

Btw, I don’t know the presenters name, but, I have a proposition for her, take at look at the book “Holistic Management” by Alan Savory et al. It is the worst written book with kernels of great ides. My proposition is the presenter, having the organised mind and being articulate, re-write Holistic Management for the lazy people who like organisation, logic and lucidity?

While we don't recommend products at Biome Makers, we do provide soil fungal analysis which may be able to point you in the direction of which types of products may have the best effect on your soil. Learn more about us here: biomemakers.com/

Ed, You may be exactly right about the chaos. I've made efforts to get mychorrizal fungi established (inoculated at transplant and then inoculated each cover crop). The Biome Makers test still shows myco numbers are low, buy present. Microbiometer has shown slow steady increase of fungal:bacterial ratio from 0 to 0.3:1 to 0.7:1 now. The goal would certainly be >5:1. I've found a source with 18 species (Root Rescue) hoping to hit one that will be symbiotic with citrus.
@edbourgeois8601 Жыл бұрын
My theory, there is some chaos until the fungal network develops and then regulates all the exchanges.
