Why though, what a dumb idea! Increased cost, weight and complexity for no real benefit, make sliding doors if you want to fit into a tight parking spot as did Peugeot 1007

I was driving down the highway and a man pulled up at the side of the road, his door came down and from waist to to feet he was naked, with a massive erection he was playing with. I called the police and described the incident and how the door just *dissappeared* and they threatened to charge me with wasting police resources and making false reports... Finally, after seeing this video, I know I have some proof.

I can only imagine how excited these guys could be coming up with this idea and after countless hours of work and money finally making it a reality just to see nobody cared. And now we used the bottom of your car to store batteries so this will never become mainstream for sure.
