The 60-30-10 color theory is now a thing of the past. Today, people want to see the real thing or the closest one to it, and this has become possible. While shooting in 16K files and log formats can be done, displays can be made in 8K and above formats. Thus, we know that people can see the real thing or images very close to the real thing. To attract the attention of people who do not know anything about this subject and to make a start from there, these purpose-oriented theories can be useful. However, I think that period is over; from now on, we should pursue what is more real. These thoughts of mine are valid for cinema. By the way, your video is great and you have a very high-quality narration.

Interesting. I guess if you compose a shot by rule of thirds oftentimes you could achieve this easily enough. Also a useful principle for character design or costuming

Like anything in colour theory… there a multiple “rules of thumb”. They all work based on what the artist/colour editor are trying to achieve. This one is pretty cool and based on the explanation I get it. Makes a lot of sense.
