I love that sound! Lots of Seiner boats have them where im from in Alaska Very awesome rig. Skidders are my favorite. They look like the first trucks that were invented. Simple and built like tanks

Absolutely Jeff ... It's the Pioneer Princess wood cook stove, made by the Amish and we got it 4 years ago up in Unity, Maine. It heats the whole house and great for cooking and baking!

We invested in the John Deere with various attachments 6 years ago. Added the snow blower 4 years ago. As we're getting older these things have all been a great blessing! Thank you my friend.

Nice:) I’ve been very lucky to have all my puppies get trained by my mature dogs while they were growing up. I can never get toys to stick around tho. They always end up in the brook behind my house. There’s probably 50 frisbees piled up somewhere downstream from me:)

Always fun to hear that in the yard. I incubate eggs every spring but this year I had a renegade mom that hatched 5 in the bushes. Of course 3 of the 5 ended up being rosters:) cheers to the new addition to the family!

Ya u need at least a 16 ply forestry tire they won’t go bald nearly as fast as I’m sure those tires did. Just don’t spin over stumps or scrub side walls against other trees they will last forever if they are taken care of

We had to chase ours 4 miles through the woods:) fortunately they usually listen to there stomachs. We had a near by farm that had 13 cows disappeared without a trace for a few weeks. Not fun. Grain silo looks good. Definitely handy to get feed in bulk

Yeah they run great as long as you don't throw the fuel filter away. I was skidding for this guy. One day I came out of the woods and couldn't shut it off. I took the valve cover off and found the rack was jamed. I ended up going to the local dealer, got a new enjector, timeing tool, and a new fuel filter. He had thrown the old one away and didn''t replace it. When I was in the Navy I worked on 271s, 671s, slant 671s and 610s. I'm getting to be an old man, but I'd love to drive a skider again.

Detroit diesel , it's have to be drive way open. Those engine are made to turn. One thing, if you have just one set of chains , put them on the front tires.

That thing needs the injector rack adjusted and set. It's called a tune-up on a 2stroke.

And make sure that you use Chevron dello 400/40w.motor oil. Because that's what Detroit two-stroke engine uses for them. Do not use 15/40 it will take out the rings. Straight 40 in the 2storkes

My dad and I wore out several of those old skidders. Great old machines. Trans is the same as a Chevy four speed. Whobble stick a little getting used to. Congratulations and be careful. Rolled ours over several times
