Long shots, no sun on a couple of stages and you maintained those splits. 💪🏽😎🇺🇸
@MakanaRoyal3 ай бұрын
couple 40+ yard shots, & 11 stages in one day in that heat was what made it tough🥵 There also was also a 40round stage a couple 30+ round stages, so there was a good wide variety of stage designs that really pushed everyone’s technical abilities throughout the day. & then add on top of that, lugging around a heavy AF cart with ammo & back up🔫 & all my back up gear, the blisters going into the last 2 stages definitely didn’t help. But I pushed through & managed to move to to the top to lead, after seeing I was behind the pack after the first 6 stages. I needed to get my mental side of things in check to attack the last 5-6 stages🤜🥇🤛 I learned a lot that day. & I’m looking forward to my next local match to apply what I learned

Thanks Brotha🤜🏆🤛Toughest Major I’ve ever competed in🥵Had blisters on my feet going into the last 2 stages🤕 Had a 40 round count stage, & a bunch of 30 round count stages, YUGE bays with berms on all sides🥳 Ya, tough but still so much fun🥇 Hope to shoot a Major with you next year😉

Preshe8 u brotha🫡Might of been easier if they split that many stages up into 2 days of competition, as it was tough hauling 100pounds of gear in my cart all day in that kind of heat, to all 11 stages, but I still managed to gain the lead going into the last 5 stages after lunch break. I also probly shouldn’t of ate so much brisket at lunch time as I felt even slower after that 🤣

Hello! Loving your video. I wanted to get into USPSA but I had a question. All these matches I'm seeing at Richmond people are using mags larger than 10. How is this possible
@MakanaRoyal5 ай бұрын
Yup, if you already own them, then use them. A lot of people got their during FREEDOM WEEK, & some moved there with them. If you legally bought them, that’s ur property. So if you got them, use them🔥

Awesome video! I have a couple of questions as someone new to the sport 1. You won stage 1 beating out A and M shooters. Is the skill level between M,A,B so close that you often find them mixed together like that? 2. What would you say are the main things you personally need to work on to improve from where you are now?
@MakanaRoyal5 ай бұрын
Great questions. There is a Classifier Stage at every USPSA match which determines if you move up or stay in the same class. For the most part, I am terrible at those types of stages. As well as a lot of classifiers have been shot out, meaning the longer they’ve been out, the harder it is to classify good on them. Therefore it’s harder to level up your class. If it was based on the percentage of the whole match, I’d be a high A class or low Master class. So the main things I need to work on is everything. That’s the thing with this amazing sport, with in striving for perfection, you will reach some sort of greatness. There’s always something to get better at. Also there are multiple Divisions, & each you can work your way up in class. But ya, welcome to USPSA! Glad to have awesome people get into this amazingly fun sport🤜🥇🤛& thanks for Che king out my video’s🫡Hopefully one day I see you at a match! Will squad up & have a blast!

First off if it say Gun and Rod Club … Fudd Warning Number One! Secondly benches at Flat Ranges are for zeroing, to train you need to get off the rest and get moving.

Speed comes the more comfortable you get with the cadence of how ur dot reacts to ur rounds ur shooting. As long as ur dot is consistently going straight up & down, the pattern starts to get ultra familiar which leads to shooting faster with confidence. You’ll be there in no time at all brotha🤜🥇🤛
