The regimental march of the Royal Military Police. After a 20 year career I still think its one of the best. A brilliant bit of German composing, adopted for a fine Corps

Is an German March.... Hoch Heidecksburg. the march was probably adopted because the royal family is from Germany Sachsen Coburg Gotha
@JLDixon Жыл бұрын
@@MrWhite-rp6wd I had an album many years ago of German music and knew it by the original title before knowing it had been adopted in the British Army. I was surprised when I joined the Royal Military Police that their march was one of my favourite pieces of music.

It's strange how, now that everyone's got a camera in their pocket, it's just human instinct to start filming something if other people are. People just switch off their brain and automatically get their phone out. I understand it, but surely if literally everyone else is filming it, people should realise that someone will probably upload it online if they really want to watch it back again. And everyone stretching their arms as high as they can into the air certainly doesn't help visibility. Perhaps it's to post on social media, but I can't imagine every single person is planning to do that. They'll just save the video on their phone and forget about it.

This march in particular just sounds so comically evil. Like it should be the theme to some stereotypical movie villain. Not that it doesn't fit the British army.

Now that I listen to it a lot of times, you're quite right!

it sounds like the theme music for some sort of comic relief villain
