Love reading her books...read them in early 2000s and now with my kids. This interview was interesting, I could listen to her speak for hours.

They're adults who have made their decisions. Rowling has decided to be hateful, and Radcliffe has decided not to tolerate it. He owes her nothing, despite the joke at the start of this. And no, I will not humour you with further discussion if you come back to defend Rowling.

My personal opinion people saying Ron Weasley was done dirty in the movies.. for someone who has read the books.. I completely disagree when people say that.. now when people say Ginny Weasley was done dirty in the films I completely agree! But Ron Weasley in films in my opinion he doesn’t get enough credit and people say he doesn’t have enough stand out moments or his character to shine I completely disagree so while yes I would of added more to his character but I think the performance by Rupert Grint made up for that because he played Ron Weasley so incredibly well and was still a great loyal friend to Harry and Hermione and he was the glue to the Trio and kept them together! I didn’t mind the comedy their added to his character it wasn’t just butt of jokes like Finn from the Star Wars sequel trilogy.. Ron in movies was fine really good just not perfect but you could say same thing about Harry and Hermione you can nitpick anything from any character in these movies.. just my opinion compare to some other books to movie adaptation Harry Potter was done perfect and I don’t think the TV series is going to capture that magic! Just my opinion 😊

After hearing the casting story of Evanna Lynch as Luna, I’m soo relieved that she’s one of the few HP actors who’s defended JK Rowling in recent years from all the “transphobia” nonsense

I just watched an interview from 1998 where she was talking about meeting with different production companies about turning it into a movie and she was so scared to sign away her baby and worried they wouldn’t do it right. I’m so glad she and Steve Kloves met and all her worried were quashed 🥲 it’s lovely to hear her say working on the films was one of the best experiences of her life! She is an extraordinary woman

Hmmm, I’m intrigued that the people of the left politically endorse trans issues. I am wondering if this is more of an American thing? I consider myself to be on the political left. I live in Scotland, basically a more socialist leaning country. Call me transphobic if you want, but I just do not understand the notion that someone is ‘non binary’ some crazy that they are either sexless, or both sexes at once. Nor do I believe that men can become a women or vice versa. No amount of surgery is going to change that.
@acb10574 ай бұрын
It's the new trend of American culture where people LOVE to be a victim. So they behave in absolutely absurd ways (i.e a man can be a woman, people can be non- binary, men can pregnant, etc) to get a reaction from people then they are the 'victim' of other people for not accepting them. It's equal parts seeking victimhood and mental illness. And it's splitting the country.

The books are really more fulfilling than the films, but as she said to tell the complete stories would give you 12 hour movies. Perhaps the reboot will do a book a year in a series.
