What if, when only placing a single tile of hedge, it was some cool topiary instead of a short line of hedge? It could be a rearing horse or an obelisk or something.

Sometimes you want the single piece of hedges though, if the devs want more decorations they could always add it separate like with the others

Hey, you can setup a hotkey in the Augustus settings. I think defeault is R. Only certain buildings have rotations but it helps since traders and maket ladies as well as carters preffer to interact with the roofed tile.

Its a setting "global labor pool" some other impressions games had it so the Augustus adds it as an option, it disables the labor seekers. Most people play with this on since the seeker mechanic was always super jank.

Just got Augustus and wanted to update my blocks from the standard 9x9. I always thought it was weird basing the block design to maximise the fountain, when that doesn't matter at all really compared with other things. I look forward to giving these two new blocks a go in your reconquered campaign maps!

Depends on what Augustus version you are used to, this is latest unstable.This gets new things almost every week. New resources were already introduced in Aug. 4.0 which is a while back.

Both of these maps have a specif trade route that open later when you play the map for a bit if thats what you mean. Otherwise there isnt any difference between 4.0 or unstable in regards to the empire maps. Also this isnt the normal campaign to be clear its hard to know anything from your comment.

I played C3 a lot in my youth, love that game even though I always thought the campaign was hard as hell. I hope the game will get a remake in a good way today but I doubt it. And the music is so nostalgic. 😊

Hey this is the Augustus mod which already is much better than for example the remake for Paharaoh that was released recently. I remake would be able to trumph the amount of content Augustus offers really. Also this is the Reconquered campaign which is a remake of the original that i made a while back. I think most of use started playing c3 as kids and very few of us were any good at it. Part of that was the game tutorial was awfull and the game didnt explain itself very well at all. Today with Augustus features vanilla campaign is quite trivial to beat.

Just making things harder is not a problem ,plenty of ways to make map a nightmare with max size frequent attacks or terrain that doesent allow anything. Such maps exist i even made some like it, but they do not stream well if you dont use saves etc. Its better as a puzzle you play on your own at that point.

Especially for kids the game is great as it picks and interest in the period and history in general. The feel of the game superb from music to sprites and buildings. Very big BUT is that its arguably wrong in many ways in regards to history as its made by people very long time time ago, other research has been done since and people behind this were history fans not historians. If you deep dive into it, almost every city is placed wrongly in history and geographically on the empire map and instructions often say wrong things. The above is just a modern point of view on this, im sure in next 25 years we will get outsamarted by even better newer research and insight.

Hey, i appreacite the comment. I didnt really enjoy msot Turgon maps as they are way to extreme for a strem. I preffer to play with no saves and no foreknowledge if possible. If i do that then the Turgon maps are nearly impossible. At least he old ones i had a pleasure to play.

Sorry for the wait, the channel is archive or place top put rcordings of streams. I was thinking about cutting this into a video for a second channel or making a fresh run without chat for it, but i have no idea if people around here would be interested in it. I mainly play caesar 3 but i dont think i'm terrible at hoi4 either. I think Aldrahil and other tubers usually do 30-40 minutes per video for a whole run which seems like a lot of editing.

So the Legionaries are like a mix of the ranged and melee auxiliary units into a single unit? Makes sense. They lose mobility for extra armor.

Yeah they are very good now, still really slow but considering they are the most expensive at least they do really well in a fight.

You can check Aldrahils video the template used is the exact one as used there. 5 Infantry brigades with no support or artillery. CAS by itself can only ever target units engaged in combat. If there are no combats going on, CAS missions will inflict no damage or target enemy units.

@@commissarmarek tbh I expected it to be about boosing your AI allies to victory, with units you can control the fighting, and as your thumbnail suggests, CAS can do enough dmg that it doesn't really matter what you use as long as there is a body breathing in the general direction of the enemy

@@gromyko6364 The video this was inspired by had the same rules as i used, as i mentioned at the start. For only AI units challnege that is different. Someone did that as well but that doesent look like any fun to me. Do what you want, if you didnt like this then feel free to leave a dislike on it.

Good gameplay!!! I think you could have been more greedy and take hungary before to secure aluminium and build planes but you defended very well. Can't wait to see next video, maybe you can do it a little bit shorter by playing with more speed. New sub😃

Thanks, if i was going non-democratic then taking over neighbours and potentially going Austria Hungary to gain cores would be the go to strategy but this one is meant to be all about staying blue, so thats why i had to play the way i did. Thanks for watching. :)

The map is not on heaven yet. Same as with other maps that i post here there are often changes made to them as well when you try them. This one isnt on the discord either but thats where you can usually find them pre heaven, if you want to help the mapmakers test them. First time playing the Reconquered here, fulfilling the wheat stockpile objective (Ostia, 1st level) didnt unlock the dock school and theater, yet I won the scenario, i'm playing with unstable version 4.0.0.329-be784458b windows

Hey, that is very strange. I know there is an oversight regarding the objective where it requires 2 more farms than the objective states. I intend to fix this in the future update. Could this be the cause?

Would you recommend for me to install the developer build? The military is completely different, selecting the granaries and warehouse options look different, I guess I should to play custom maps? Where can I find the latest versions? I think I randomly found 4.0.0.299 or something but it didn't look official

Hey, i explained it here i think. Its a very recent video from the main channel. kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2jWeINpqKxjn68 You get the unstable from the same page as you got regular Augustus. Just right next to it there is "unstable branch" you get that and the "deveolpment assets" that are on the same page and extract both into your c3 folder. As for custom map you can get them on caesar 3 heaven.
