There are a number of lies/deceptions that false teachers/prophets may teach while superficially mouthing the words that Jesus is Lord. It takes some in depth wisdom and listening to hear if they are truly confessing that Jesus is Lord in their daily lives and speech. I think that's why they always tend to be so vague and folks have such a hard time putting their finger on what the false teachers are saying. They will say yeah Jesus is God but then in private they say the universe is god and everything is god and so in that light Jesus really isn't all that special and isn't God Almighty in their mind. They worship and serve the created. They tolerate sexual immorality and many abortions in secret. They will say yeah Jesus is Lord but they have changed the definition of Lord in their mind; and what they are meaning in their mind when they say that; is that Jesus was the best guru; or the best at the new age crafts that they are practicing, or the best teacher; and therefore wanting to learn from what he taught. They site certain bible verses that they have reinterpreted into socially acceptable belief systems and thus they call themselves believers and call Jesus Lord in a superficial way. But not in truth. They suppress the truth. They follow their imaginations and seek Self. Self is on the throne. They say he died for them but Only in the sense of showing them and teaching them more about new age practices and crafts, living sacrificially(they claim) and getting their best life now, and seeking the divine within themselves. But they say each person has to pay for their own sins, though. and that even call it dying to self: although new age practitioners are extremely selfish and self absorbed, and mean and hard hearted. Don't cross them. Also pagans sometimes defend human sacrifice by stating it was honorable And even claim sometimes folks volunteered for it. Yeah right, maybe an underdog that everybody hated and shunned. But they will not admit that Jesus, who is God Almighty, died for our sins and rose again; They will not admit what truly happened on the cross. Not from their heart in truth. But only after twisting wbat that means. and won't admit that believing that is the only way to be forgiven and cleansed of our sins, and to receive everlasting life. Therefore they do not confess that Jesus is Lord in truth and reality. Only superficially. They think repentance from sin is unneccesary. They mouth nice spiritual sounding platitudes and goals and might do volunteer work and proobecy but their heart is mean and evil. It is not born again. They have redefined who Jesus is ( even though they might call him god.) to match what they want and they have reinterpreted the bible. It's all occult disguised as Christianity and infiltrated into the church. They secretly hate God. So they worship the universe. They think everybody eventually gets there. This is why they get so furious at people who post certain basic clear scriptures that prove their stories wrong. They don't want to obey the commandments of Jesus. They only want to follow the twisted stories they made up or words they received and claim it's from Jesus. A fresh new word specially for them that fits their wishes and desires, and lusts of the flesh. They have subtly changed the meaning of the words Christ, sin, repent, redemption, salvation and so on. WHAT IF WE DIE BELIEVING A FALSE GOSPEL? The Bible and specifically our Apostle Paul tells us the answer to that question. Well, guess what? God has written down the instructions that we need to follow in order to inherit eternal life with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is called the Bible, and we can carry it everywhere we go. If we follow the instructions in the Bible, we can live in the best place imaginable. We can be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and we will never get old, sick or die. Have you made the decision to believe God and follow His written instructions, so that you will become a child of God forever? God doesn’t make mistakes. When He adopts you as His child, it is a forever adoption. Yet, some of us question God and His promises. Now you may ask yourself what Satan is up to these days. That is an easy question to answer. Satan is not hanging around in the obvious places where everyone goes to sin. Satan has total control of those places. No, Satan hangs out at the places where people feel safe, and they go to in order to feel closer to God. God has warned us through the Apostle Peter about those that twist the Scriptures. Peter tells us the final destination of someone that twists the Scriptures. God, through our Apostle Paul tells us that we are saved by believing the gospel unless we have believed in vain. Will you put your trust in someone that twists and distorts the gospel by adding to or subtracting from the gospel? Will you believe someone that tells you that you must do something extra for your salvation? Do you remember Adam and Eve? A little bit of Satan goes a long way. A little bit of twisting the Scriptures can last for an eternity. I have made a decision to learn from Adam and Eve’s mistake. I have believed the gospel of the grace of God “alone” for my salvation. There is no scripture in the Bible that Father, Son and Holy Spirit exist in one divine essence as the Trinity doctrine says. There is no scripture that says that there are three persons in one God, all co-equal, co-eternal and consubstantial. Colossians 1:15 calls Jesus the “Firstborn of all creation” and Revelation 3:14 says that Jesus is the “beginning of the creation by God,” which means that Jesus is a created being. In John 14:28 Jesus said that the Father was greater than he was and in Revelation 3:12 he called the Father "my God" after his resurrection. These scriptures show that God and Jesus are not co-equal nor co-eternal.
