Yeah I started selling cars and I SUCKED at it. I didn't feel like I was selling something useful, I felt like I was trapping people under a $500 payment for the next 5+ years 🤮 Unfortunately I have no Christmas light-specific advice but check out Spencer Claeys here on YT if you haven't already

I had a line on the back to write a special but generally didn't use it. Just leaving a card at a no-answer VERY rarely got a response. Leaving the card after a face to face conversation was much better. That generates phone calls days, weeks or even months later. Not many, but hey. A card costs like $0.02. Money well spent imo

I never tried door hangers myself, but I know a few people who had great success with them. Definitely depends on your offer and the design tho

@@johnkakuk its actually going pretty well, i have been getting busier while still doing my highrise job with a company from 10 to 2 mostly and after that booking my own clients. with high rise pay is 400$ in 4 hours and then doing own client this wendesday for 450 from knocking doors. i think i didnt knock enough and i still got business , cant imagine what if i went 4 hours , but i hate door knocking. just got my website running which ill have to connect to google

@@johnkakuk I decided to go and finance a work van , did some door knocking ,some fb groups not that much ,but still got some business while still keeping my job in highrise window cleaning. I hope to get so busy by June that I can quit my highrise window cleaning job.

I spent $700 for my "starter kit," all-in. I had to spend extra on a more expensive ladder rack due to my truck bed's configuration, but if I hadn't it would have only been $500.

Since my location doesn't have a big problem with moss I just brushed away what little moss was there and blew it off. Other locations might necessitate a soft wash with hydrogen peroxide roof cleaner or laundry detergent. Check out Spencer Claeys for more on that
