when i got into jazz 3 or so years ago, Nina was my gateway into it. my first ever artist, i vividly remember listening to her silk and soul album first since then of course i have expanded my taste and have a come a LONG way since that. and now i consider Sinatra and Sarah Vaughan my favorite with Ella. But it’s so bittersweet because I barely play Nina anymore, she was my GIRL. And definitely in a whole another category than those artist, no butterflies and rainbows singing about love And in beginning too i was chasing this person who is similar to Nina and I’d soon realize, there is no OTHER PERSON, SHES LITERALLY A ONE OF ONE 1:00 and this line literally takes me back to the beginning, i remember playing this part over and over, i wish I could hear it again for the first time. Nina was so badass

and yes i know she’s definitely sang about love, but in a different way. It was not crooning or fairly like with the huge orchestras

McLean speaks on the winds of a chill breeze, with every line making me shiver. …and I’ll stand at your grave and watch till you’re dead with him too.

Это, конечно, просто "вышка" - формы, как таковой - нет (что-то там еще гитарка пытается подыгрывать), но суть и вся драма этого произведения - заключена в этом исполнении.

Songs like this that remind you of what Britain used to be like in its prime. Thank god that I experienced just some of it before it's decay.

A big talent ,that should have been bigger, but felled into the wrong hands of corrupt people. Marcel would have been a super star talent if he'd gotten to America.:from Essences of Jamal of DC,sellers of incense & shea- butter around the world. (Washington DC based).
