I really wanted to say THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! I've had one of these since 2009... geeze multiple very nice 17-18 inch laptops have rode atop this beast. But hitting open area's with canned air and a vacuum could only do so much. For the last 1-2 years I've barley ran the fans as I was always meaning to "deep clean it." Well today just happened to be that day mine had basically ran from 2009-2021 nearly non stop, 2022- till 2/11/2024 was just passive. Now it's like new. Like I said in the first sentence I really wanted to give you a massive thank you. But I can't... I can't see what to do in your video clearly after the screws for the fans are removed as it's blocked by other video's. Don't get me wrong I'm thankful BUT I've gone this far and I'm not one to half-ass something so I intended to break it down completely clean and reassemble and that's what I'm going to do, unfortunately I have to find a video from someone else who clearly shows those steps. If it's possible could you edit in 30-45 mins of whatever? I'm hoping that would push what's blocking the final steps out. Either way I'm still thankful you did get me like 90% of the way there!
