How many versions of Holocaust Ride are out now. That's so crazy. Where do you all come from? When we recorded this in 1990 we had hope, that this record will help all bands to become more nown. It was not really happened on that time. Only 300 pieces where printed and 8 Bands had hard times to even sell those. And now in 2024, 33! years later there is a CUFA-Mania somewhere out in the world. And the record gets an attention that it never had, when it was released.. You know what? That feels really good. I really think I should do a revision to my old Tascam-8-track-machine. Then take the old tapes from Coming Up For Air and make a remix.

There are some that have been going around, we originally found this song off a guys cassette tape he recorded off the radio station "DRS 3" sometime through the 80s-90s. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYOvdX1-apqdfLcsi=Pr_YSjZLIDlf5_aV ) This was one of the unidentified tracks on it that and was later identified by Randolurker, TomLostWave. There are a good group of people that were apart of the project (Including me), Some songs still unidentified unfortunately. There was the version found on the cassette tape, and the another version we found on a low quality rip of the Coming Up For Air vinyl. But was re-ripped by FirstWaveLostMedia and now, this is the highest quality version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4mthoCtqN52g7s. Myself and others really enjoy the music you guys made!! We are hoping to find more tracks made by The Valets in the future!

@@1mikkeeee thank you for this answer. I also learned a little bit more from the user SeBa, because we got a closer contact since a few days. But what it's really interesting is, that it is such an international community. But despite that, everybody knows others from conversations in the comment-section. This is really nice. I still have a lot of old stuff from that time around 1990 mostly on my old cassettes. I'm sure I have something from The Valets too. But I also know Sam Kunz (Bass/Voice at the Valets) and Ädel Elsener (Drums/Voice at the Valets) very good. Roman Elsener is the brother of Ädel. And with Roman I still play with the Roman Games and bring out a new record soon. Sam Kunz was in the band The Alroys the last few years. We had some gigs together. But they are not aktiv at the moment.

I was the engineer, so I should know, but it is really a long time ago. But because I was a member of the band Jeanne d'Arc, played also on Roman's track (Head Of The Party) wich was his soloprojekt in thouse days I may bring it together. The band The Roman Games was found later in autumn 1991. On that time Jeanne d'Arc, the Readymades (Roman's Band) had split already. If I bring it all together in my brain, than it has to be 1990, when we all have made the recordings. The recordings took place in our rehearsal-room (Jeanne d'Arc) in St.Gallen. It was one band after the other. And then I had to do the mixes. (the Valets and Former Franks went to other studios to mix their songs) So this all took a very long time, also because everybody worked with the same 8-track-recording-tape of mine. @@1mikkeeee
