I’m about to start my radiator on my pickup I need to drain it and it hasn’t got a drain plug (old type radiator) and I was thinking of changing it to a better 2 core with drain plug ? I’ve got to take it off anyway as the fan is on back to front 😂 any thoughts or should I just keep the old one?
@WilliamMurfitt8 күн бұрын
Updated radiators are better for cooling, you will need to check if you have a single or 2 piece cowling as I’m not sure if compatible with bigger radiators in which case mountings and cowlings will need to be replaced too, but modern biggger cores will always help for sure

Is there any need to open cap on brake fluid ? Heard this needs to happen to push piston back
@WilliamMurfittАй бұрын
I'm sure there is a technical explanation for this however I have seen the system pressurise and a jet of brake fluid fires out of the breather hole, if the cap is removed you have less chance of this happening and maybe only a slight overflowing. creating far less mess etc.
@Kate_Short-For-Bob21 күн бұрын
I'm doing my rear pads tomorrow. I'm sure I'll need to draw out some fluid from the reservoir with a syringe, as I'd topped it up fully when I changed the pads on the front.

Hello, I have no real objections to them, from my understanding when searching for the correct sized discs the brembo were the only option for this particular model. this may have now changed, however a fair few miles have now been completed without issue. So overall very happy in that respect.

@@WilliamMurfitt Thank you for your answer! I am in the same situation since i only have 2 options for discs : brembo and Zimmermann. So i looked for videos regarding "replacing pads and rotors" and found yours, so i wanted to know your opinion on these... Did you experienced any warping with this?
