I mean TBF Chief was never the actual best at anything. Don’t get me wrong he’s still one of the best, just he always had that lucky plot armor cause the man was beaten and thought dead many times with some blind luck of a helping hand being there in the Knick of time that no one else got and there fore they died. Cortana strictly says she chose him cause he had the one thing no one else did “luck”. Unless you’re domino made spartan I find it hard to believe anyone could actually replace him. Noble 6 will prolly be the closest what if with him acting closer to a Spartan 2 rather than a Spartan 3 due to the fact he went solo on some HV missions when Spartan 3s are normally trained for team ops.

Jerome or Jai would be acceptable replacements for the Master Chief. Jerome is more of the Chief mold. Jai would be a bit more of a wild card. Jai 1v1 Thel before he became Arbiter, so those two have a history.

Starfeild doesn't use volumetric media for atmosphere meaning an external only shader, and an internal only skybox shader. Requires transitional period to swap scene. Volumetric rendered atmosphere is heavier on performance but requires no transitional period

Jerome was among the top Spartan II's that were slated as best for leadership roles along with John and Kurt. And don't forget that Kurt was "nominated" to train and lead the III's on Onyx by Ackerson. A lot of talent and skill was present in the ranks of the second generation of Orions. I hope we get to see more of Jerome, Alice and Douglas in the future. Even if it is a small appearance.

To be fair red team is actually a Spartan 2 (wash up) that re went augmentation. So yeah, they still retains the original S 2 strong bone n strength

Ah yes another prime example of why the unsc is to stupid to exist. God i hate how bad combat in halo is humanity doesn't have a single vehicle except the Pelican. Is the warthog is literally a side by side atv. The tanks profile is so massive for literally no reason. Humanitys space crafts are horrendous if your enemies have better tech, weapons and defensive capabilities on there warships you dont try to mirror them you produce very specialized small crafts in massive numbers also why doesn't the unsc have decided drone carriers so they can send in 100s of thousands of unmanned expendable drones
