Ok, I know relationships take work and aren’t ever perfect (I’m married and totally get that), but it feels like the “work” for her with Will is more like torturous hard labor 😂 Marriage can have rough patches, but it seems like their entire marriage is a rough patch and looking for other men to fulfill what your husband isn’t giving you like empathy and happiness is a giant red flag! When the pain of staying is greater than the pain of leaving, that’s your sign that it’s time to leave! And in that situation, leaving is not a failure, it’s the smart thing to do!

Rocky was an interesting guy. He was tough and a very smart business man. He was a very nice man, actually. I worked for him for 22 years at Benihana. I knew Steve when he was about 10. Kevin Aoki is Rocky's other son, who is an extremely successful restauranteur. I worked with Kevin for a few years in Chicago. He is a really nice guy as well.

Wow - shocked how places like this exist. Paris using her fame to bring awareness and try to help others is incredibly admirable when she could easily just push down those memories and never think or talk about them again. What a strong, strong girl - I can’t say I would be brave enough to keep trying to escape knowing I would get beat, strangled, and tortured if I got caught, and she did it numerous times. Thanks for doing this podcast - you guys are great to listen to!! ❤

Broke my heart that she had to take care of her siblings at 10 years old and she doesn’t see anything wrong with that. 😞 I’m surprised the parents never got charged with neglect, especially knowing Josh was sexually abusing the girls.

It really is a thing with rich people having shit all over their homes. There's a couple podcasts I listen to where they also have piss and shit all over and just laugh it off like it's no big deal. You feed your cats $30 a can food but won't hire anyone to clean their litter boxes...mind boggling to me.

Also, how she still only calls her nanny "Nanny"; I have British heritage so my grandmother liked to go by "Nanny" as that is a common British term for grandma but I live in Toronto and would edit myself when referring to her to other people because I did not want people to think I was some rich stuffy person with a nanny lol. Yet here she is not even using this woman's name as an adult.

This is hilarious. The parts about their bad hygiene at home and with pets reminds me of something I saw recently...I forgot who said it but I heard a talk show host (I want to say Conan but I can't remember or find the clip) say that we would be surprised at how stinky the young popular "good-looking" male celebrities are. Apparently, they smell like dirty teenage boy laundry while the older men, like 65+ wore a nice hint of cologne and smelled amazing lol. I swear it was Conan on a podcast recently but I can't find the clip now. But their point was that money does not equal good hygiene practises especially for anyone who is used to having everything done for them.

Oh man, the movie where she plays Sylvia - it’s called An American Crime. It’s a true story about a 16 yr old girl and absolutely horrific. Years ago it was randomly on TV and I started watching halfway through having no clue what it was about, but loved Elliot’s acting from Juno. After 30 min I knew the movie was almost over, but I couldn’t even finish it. Major trigger warnings - especially near the ending - you just can’t unsee it. 😢 I honestly can’t believe it was on TV, it’s brutal and I likely saw the edited version. 😳

You need to read pronounced My Tay Garcia's book, it'll tell you a lot more about her relationship with her ex husband Prince! Her mother brought her to Prince when she was 16 and he never touched her, married her when she was 18, she was in his band! She tragically lost two children.
