@@7LukeMMA I'll also make a bold statement, that Merab should be bottom of Mid tier or top of 25 minute piss break. I agree that his cardio is impressive enough to warrant him a mention, but his finish rate isn't his only detractor. He doesn't even attempt finishes or to do any real damage. You can almost guarantee his fights go the distance because of that. He's not someone like khabib who would put you on your back and beat the fuck out of you for 25 mins straight, like he did with Michael Johnson or Edson Barboza either, he's just content to have the position and land enough to keep the ref from standing them up. I think if Shevchenko is in 25 min piss break for the same reason, Merab should belong there too. At least in Shevchenko's defense, her last performance was just that bad, but Merab's fights are always the same. His only finish is against Marlon Moraes, which while impressive, Moraes' chin was cracked after he got battered by Cejudo. He was the never the same after, so the hindsight of that finish makes it not quite as impressive. It was impressive that he got fucked up before that though.

Really weird to make it a race thing. Picked him against Strickland and he got clean swept. Felt like I gave pretty valid reasons why I thought he’d lose this fight, and even in doing so I said I have a feeling he may catch dricus. Making it about color is super corny and makes you look like a dork.
