The only difference between this server and starting my own is that there MIGHT be others on the game when I play. Other than that, nothing would be different...except maybe I wouldn't get a "welcoming" package (the magazines and lvl 3 items). The other players are much higher lvl and unlikely to be affecting the area where I'll be playing as it is. Thank you for watching!

excellent progress thus far. An island with three snakes has to have an iron cave on it. The boar takes six shots from the bow. bananas respawn just like coconuts. As long as you don't harvest the tree for rope you can get more every couple of in game days. Well that's all I got today I'm off to tangle with a shark.

Not gonna lie. This was absolutely painful to watch. BUT, don’t give up. there are helpful people out there, rare as they may be that can teach you things. One of my favorite things to do in this game is teach/help people. Stick with it. You’ll figure things out.

It was funny to watch DayZ from a perspective of someone who is completely new to the game. There is so much to learn, but game doesn't provide any interactive tutorial

See. Told you that you got this. The smoker isn't capable of burning food. Left some meat on it for a whole in-game day and nothing happened.

Again? No, this is the first time for DayZ. That other one was a demo called Endless DayZ from another dev (I think they were trying to emulate this game)

The smoker can only be built on a campfire. The tanning rack makes leather out of rawhide. Build a loom and collect some clay. build a still and a leather bottle. Do all this and food and water shouldn't be much of an issue anymore.

Got it. My concern is that I didn't see any clay on this island and staying alive long enough to get back to that other island or another island for clay. But, I'll remember what you said. Thanks!

It's called...Save...Sleep...Get Water. --- In *that* exact order! I mean Ugggghhh! And yes, giving yourself food poisoning was not the smartest thing to do. Honestly. 🙄

The weird thing is that in some games, you still get some boost even with burnt food. I've only gotten food poisoning from burnt food in this game.

I LOVE this game. I know it's "easier" (if that's possible) with more than one player. But, I don't mind the grind and to me, it's fun.

Solo is no picnic, but there is a sense of achievement when you get your first base down. One tip..don't stand around in the open for too long. You can crouch in a bush outside if you need to check your map or hide from other players! Looking foward to seeing how this goes. ❤
