a lot of companies have videos hitting impact windows or doors with a baseball bat, where the bat will not break the glass so people who see that thing that the glass doesn't break

@@rainy5079 an insulated impact window has a tempered outer pane, an airspace and then a pane of annealed, 2 layer safety glass with a plastic film in between the 2 layers.

⁠@@johnapelcede9861What are you even saying??? This is not an IG unit with tempered and annealed lites. Whatever surface he’s hitting is annealed laminated you can tell by the long runs. It was be asinine to use tempered and annealed for an IG make up. This guy is an idiot and doesn’t know the difference between tempered glass and annealed laminate glass.

@@johnapelcede9861 Laminated glass means that it is two pieces of glass joined by a piece of plastic interlayer. The glass itself for the sandwich is tempered, but there are also other options for that glass.

@@rainy5079 there are 3 options for laminated glass material; annealed, heat-strengthened and full tempered. Non of these nor any combination of, are hurricane resistant unless an approved inner liner is sandwiched in between any 2 layers.

I just installed an ES9000 as my front doors. I was told that my google nest smart lock would be able to be installed. Now I'm told that these doors can NOT take a smart lock of any kind. Is this true or do you know of a smart lock that can be installed on the ES9000 doors

Hopefully you might know. Should the fury weather stripping on the bottom of ES Sliders be fully touching the center monorail in the bottom track? Mine are not and thinking this is why I get wind noise from under the door and often can hear outside noise as well.

That first sentinel single hung set you talked about number 110 are not double hung that is a mold. Unit hung means the top glass comes down.

Nice video unfortunately several things you’re saying only confuse 5/16 is not the minimum low e does not mean low emissions the majority of the homes do not choose tint it makes the inside of the house look dark and gloomy every one have blinds it all depends on the house individual home and windows
