I noticed the clutch lever is straight; not like on other styled G's which have a slight bend in them. Good job getting it going!

Would love to see a restoration video on this old Chevy I saw the picture of it in your video about your grandpa I love these old Chevys they’re nice trucks I bet your grandfather had this truck while he was farming if he was a farmer at one time

Great job.I have 2 of my Father-In -Laws tractors a 1959 530 and a 1980 900HC serial number 2. John Deere has nmber 1

Beautiful tractor and awesone that grandpa was around to see it back in its full glory. My grandpa had a slant dash A that was sold while i was away at college, i always wanted to restire it for grandpa but he has since passed and the man that bought it wont tell me what he did with it.

Aaawww.. Well I happen to know some Folks didn't have time to constantly keep their muscle model A or G all polished and ready for the next neighborhood Tractor Pull Show. It was enough to just crawl out of bed on a cold 18 degree Oklahoma Morning and clear a path to the barn for Granny. I'm just really thanking God his Grandpa got to see his JD G looking Fresh & New again!

We had a JD G with a wide front end in the mid 60s. It was on propane and started pretty good. Steered a little hard, just like an A, not as good as a B. We used it to bale hay and not having live power you had to pull the clutch, pop the gear into neutral and reengage the clutch before the hay got so thick the shear pin broke on the 14T baler flywheel. Can you imagine, as a 14 year old, the cussing I got from my dad as I broke the shear pin. Those were good times though.

I can imagine! We had Olivers and they live pto and 6 cylinder power. Smooth and no shear pins breaking. Great restoration video though!

Local John Deere dealer get John Deere paint not the tractor supply JD paint not the correct green.
