Stac Pollaidh is my favourite wee mountain, I was crestfallen to see the new car park, God knows what it's like during the summer. My poor wee mountain.

Mate and I used to drive down to the end of the loch and walk to the climbs at the back of it. Some great fun slabs and even a miniature Half Dome!

Nice. Brought back lovely memories. Used to live in Cardross 25 years ago, which was just before Helensburgh. Loved going there on a Saturday to have a mooch/shop. Thanks for the memories ❤

Shame about your standard of town driving. Don't you care about pedestrians and women needing to cross the road whilst pushing 2 children in a double buggy? See 23.34 and 23.47 to be precise.

There was car approaching from the other side that's a), b) they were waiting for another person to cross with them. a few seconds later I let a women cross. But thank you for your comment Max. Sometimes it's hard to see the entire picture.

Hi, Greeting from Nantucket Island, USA... I have been enjoying your videos of both Skye & Mull! We are visiting both islands next month and it's great to get familiar with driving on the opposite side of the road! 🙏 I will be relying on Google Maps.. Can you tell me how good the cell service is there?? Thinking I should get some paper road maps just in case? Thanks again for the awesome videos!!

Hi, no worries! Glad you like them. Service is spot on. Not sure how well the foreign sim cards would work but you can always get Lebara sim card here and use it while visiting. Lebara has the best service on rural roads.

You went all that way and turned round a hundred yards from the end of the road! 😂. Camped there last night - lovely and quiet with no problems although a believe camping is frowned upon in the area. I didn’t quite have the sun you had in the video though!

At 01.14 motorcyclists beware. Gravel gets washed from that side road on to the road at the bend. Change of underwear required. Nice video, thanks for posting.

It’s nice to see it so quiet and clean. We made the made the mistake of going down there on a bank holiday when on holiday .Half of Glasgow seemed to be there ( the other half we later learned where at Luss) . They came to get drunk and have throw away barbecues…..which they didn’t take home.

Your videos are beautiful and so clear. Twice I have had the pleasure of visiting Scotland. I watch many YT videos of Scotland to remember places I have been. I too make videos of roads in my home county in Tennessee USA. May I ask what camera you use?

@@drivesofscotland Well, only if you have the time and the inclination. If this is too much trouble, then please don't feel obligated to take it on. Please begin at the Golden Acorn in Glenrothes, 1 North Street. Take the A92 north to A912 through Falkland to A91. West to A912 again, then north all the way on A912 to Perth. In Perth, please go to Watsons of Perth, 163-167 High Street. We stayed in the Golden Acorn and bought our 1st of 5 Royal Worcester figurines all at Watsons. I think those addresses are correct although the Google Maps photo of Watsons is not what I remember, but 1977 was a long time ago. LOL! We had a lovely Scottish lady drive us on her favorite roads to her favorite places and her favorite stores. Thank you so much. Be safe and Godspeed.

First went to Tobermory in 1959.Returned several times since but for the past several years have avoided Scotland due to the dislike of England displayed by Nicola Sturgeon.

Dislike of England has in some parts, been around for a very, very long time. It's hard to forget history for some folks. For the most part, Scotland is quite welcoming and many Brits run businesses and/or retire there.
