Yo chief, you got any tips when it comes to playing the piano? I'm self taught and I've been playing for like 8 years, but I've only recently started to try and read sheet music. It's still beginner level, and it feels like I hit a wall when it comes to progress. So do you have any tips when it comes to improving sight reading and fingering techniques? Cause I struggle with those a lot, and I really wanna improve

Idk if you use these already, but hanon exercises are a great way to warm up and improve your finger technique. For sight reading, there are certain books that have excerpts for sight reading specifically but I just learned sight reading through time just like most other techniques lol. There are a lot of pieces that are really great for certain techniques that might include what you need to improve. sheet music is like another language you have to learn, and it takes time!

I learned the first few parts over a month or so, then stopped for about 2 months, and learned the rest in like 2 days cuz the end is really easy.

@@GPK1075 also maybe an unpopular opinion, wicked cyclone is worse the twisted cyclone. And I love wicked cyclone, but twisted cyclone packs a better punch from my ride experiences

Superman at new england was kinda overrated for me ngl... the restraints were actually good it was surprisingly the layout that got me. The first half was really good, but the twister section, although it had good pops of airtime, there was too much dead space in between each hill, and they weren't as sustained as they could've been.

personally the mindbender is just ok, but I've never been on it before the refurbishment. Personally my favorite is twisted cyclone but I've only been on goliath once years ago so I need to get on it again next time.
