I am really enjoying this, thank you, but at around 9:50 I get the same thing with revolute mate, the blue arm flies out to the new revolute mate but when I hit "solve" the bottom one flies out to - I have tried this about 40 times now and I can not get them to play nice - anyone have any tips? Thanks!
@SamZhang-qg6gb2 күн бұрын
you have to click the revolute mate on the red thing first then click the revolute mate thing on the blue thing; not the other way around. idk why the order matters but I had the same problem when I did blue part then red part so I changed it up and it worked for me

I learned a lot but when I anamate the prop the whole plane turns and the prop don’t. I went back in 3 times to redo it and watch the video again to see if I missed something but I seem to hav dun it just like the video. Any pointers would help thanks
@Onshape.Learning.Projects2 ай бұрын
The body must be fixed in place so it won’t move. Right click on the body in the parts list and choose FIX from the pop up menu. Right click on the propeller and make sure it is not fixed and is free to move. Now try the animation again.

I realize it has been seven years since this video, and many things have changed, but I cannot select the top plane when I try to split the box. I am curious as to what the cause could be. Anyways, GREAT video. Sub'd

I really like the fast lesson. But i am stuck on one other thing about lines...Namely, what are the "dots" between "dots" or nodes. I don't know what to call them. In any case, if I have a blue line that has, say, three of these nodes and all I want are TWO (one at the beginning and one at the end), how do I get rid of the node in the middle? In your example in this video, you showed a shape with nodes (or whatever they are called) at the junctions where a new line begins and ends. But as I draw, I sometimes don't make a line long enough and to lengthen the line I somehow end up with a new "dot" that I don't want, so I need to know how to remove them. HELP please!
