This is the weirdest “Dirty talk” video I’ve ever heard. Slow start, but I started getting into it around the “breathing” part.

So he's a Doctor of Saxophone? He might be fairly serious about this little saxophone hobby of his. Let's just wait here and see if its just a phase. :)

My favorite part of the ENTIRE video, begins at approximately 6:55 and ends at 6:59. "There are 2 parts of breathing. Breathing in and breathing out." Fucking NAILED IT!

This is a very lovely introductory video! As a middle schooler I played the clarinet & then bass clarinet in high school. I’ve always loved the sound of horns however & often wish I had chosen it. I’ll be purchasing one soon & coming back to watch this!

That’s a dangerous way of assembling a bassoon. If your seat strap slides or breaks, your bassoon will fall to the floor. Instead, place the boot joint directly on the floor. Once the bassoon is assembled, you can attach the seat strap to it.

I have had an alto clarinet (Bundy?) for years - bought in a pawnbrokers for peanuts. Hated it. Then I bought a Vandoren mouthpiece that really brought it to life. It even takes alto sax reeds! Playing on a strap doesn't work - ergonomics rivalling C-Melody sax - so I fitted a peg with a home made extension to allow me to play seated or standing. I had trouble with the second register until I stopped using the register key above the G. The altissimo, using my bass clarinet fingerings, gives me at least a second altissimo E, which has the mice scurrying for cover. I can understand why the original owner junked it, but that mouthpiece, and experimenting with the register key made it a bargain buy.

One thing NOT to do that he does: leave your water cup right by your feet.
@jpsned2 ай бұрын
"I strongly recommend that you thoroughly soak your reed... but not too much." Does anyone have any idea what that means? Well, I noticed that he put the reed in the water at 1:10 and then took out at 16:30. That's over 15 minutes in water. It's way too long!

Hello Simon, You were at the top of the KZbin so I listened. What an excellent teacher you are. For a pro to go over the basics so clear without making me feel dumb. Excellent job!!!! I an an accordionist, Hammond B3 and piano player and I also taught myself trumpet. My friend's Father use to play in big bands. My friend asked me if I would like his Dad's clarinet. I said YES!!! I LOVE clarinet!!!! I just got it back from being rebuilt and polished. It is a 1945 Penzel Mueller Empire State made in Long Island City, N.Y. I am anxious to get playing and you made it so clear how to do so!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!! ...How do you feel about synthetic reeds? The repairman suggested getting a soft synthetic reed to begin on. Thanks again!!!!!!

If you're fingers are not firmly covering the hole, I've discovered that there will be an issue with the sound, so please make sure you do that. I've been playing piano for 5 years, and I'm self-teaching myself incredibly fast with the Standards of Excellence books how to play, the only issue is I can't seem to get the right sound out of the Clarinet. I think it sounds perfect, but the other Clarinetist in my house is either jealous or I am stupid.

Are triplets ever going to be added to the make music platform? I feel that is one of the few things holding me back on this platform.
@makemusiccloud5 ай бұрын
Hello, can you please clarify what you mean? This is one exercise from a larger series, other exercises cover other fundamentals and rhythms. If you're referring to a different feature of the MakeMusic Cloud platform, you can write triplets and other rhythms in Compose, or add/remove triplets as an option in generated exercises in Sight Reading Studio. Our support team can best assist with any questions you may have, you can contact them at bit.ly/SmartMusicSupport. Thanks!
@Napkin_Note5 ай бұрын
@makemusiccloud The problem is I currently do not know how to add triplets in compose. I tried researching the topic, but I couldn't find much information about triplets, or more specifically, how you add them to your projects. I am wondering if I am just not aware of the triplets feature or if it don't exist.

In the compose, is it possible to change the instrument?bc mine is stuck on flute
@makemusiccloud6 ай бұрын
Hello! You can change the instrument on a staff after starting a composition by selecting "Score" from the menu bar, click in the "staves and measures" tool, the selecting the staff you wish to change. An option on the left side of the screen will allow you to change the instrument for that staff. Here's an article with more details: smartmusic.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/15135417248663-Changing-Verifying-Instruments-after-Importing-to-Compose
