When were these videos made? The narrator's accent seems to be fairly modern.

I was there, 17 and still at school. Went specifically to see Joni, Leonard and the Doors but watched just about everything. Set me up for life and a continuing love of festivals. Didn't like the macrobiotic bread though- hard as nails 😕

At least “modern” times enable us to relive the fabulous times still fresh in our hearts & minds, all may not have been well with the world, but our bit of it in Brighton was great!

And the same thing happened, at least once, to the old West Pier in Brighton where they tried for years to raise money to repair it.

Shortly after this, all these people got married, got mortgages, had kids, and voted for Mrs Thatcher to destroy the Welfare State and full employment they'd been so happy to benefit from. Happy days.

As one of the many paying festival goers, I was particularly pissed off with the freeloaders. Most of them didn't even pay for the ferry fare to or from the Island and then decided that the festival should be free. Then, as anarchists always do, they wreck everything to get their way.! All of them were probably on the dole (benefits), then and if they weren't now dead from drugs, are still on benefits now. They are anarchists and anarchists don't work!
