Jesus can protect you but he gave you a brain and wants you to use it. To take updated vacation and not tempt fate. One of the apostles was a doctor my mother is very sick on a vent and feeding tube. I am praying for her to recover . She loves Jesus and keeps his commandments .Micarles happen but God doesn't want us to tempt fate . Micarles do not always happen and there is a time to be born and a time to die. Jesus was real and history bears witness to him and the Micarles Micarles he done but there aren't many people who have the faith of relationship with God that Jesus had. Jesus is Christ and he wants us to use our brain and doesn't want people to tempt fate. He is truth,love and not a liar.

In the Bible, David was actually upset that the Israelites were afraid of Goliath because he defied God. David was really just coming to the war to bring rations for his brothers, and heard Goliath smack talking! David was like “we just gonna let him talk about our God like that? You know what? I just want to finish this masters 😩

My father died of dementia 3 months ago, near the end he always thought I was his brother and he tried looking for his parents in our garden, they have been dead for more than 20 years. My father couldn't put a proper sentence together anymore...but if the topic of God and the Bible came up he spoke freely without any struggles or mistakes. Was incredible to see and mind-blowing...even hard to put this in words. All glory to God!

That was God talking to him. That was a wakeup call. GREAT SCENE!!

I took care of my mother who had dementia for eight years. She never spoke a word for so long. Two days before she died she said my name so crisp and clear. It was such a beautiful gift before she left. I miss her so much.

He used the spear. David continued running and stood over him. It seems a very cruel.unfair situation, but we need to realise this world is very sin sick. We the human race automatically blame God, but its the great dark rebel, father of lies whose ultimately to blame. God made mankind upright, but the human race rebelled, blamed God for their own presumption. Both my dad, suffered hydrochepholus( brain fluid, type if brain cancer), & my brainy Christian mum suffered 3 major strokes, the 3rd of which left her with the mental age of a 4 year old girl. But even in their severe affliction I was drawn closer to both than I had ever previously been. My dad really knew no one except me. With dear Mum it was slight more gradual. As with each stroke it shut down more & more of "Frontal lobes" of her cognitive brain communication. But it was a test for me too on how I would cope to look after her. Even in this state she retained her solid Christian beliefs till she breathed her last. At this point she whispered to me "you can go now, as Jesus us calling me to sleep". This world is not our home. As we fall into "soul sleep, then if we trust him, when he awakes us, his will be the first loving smiling face we see. "Though he slay me yet will i trust him"( says Job)

They said Goliath would crush David if they were to battle each other. They also said the Titanic was unsinkable.

Something else I noticed in this scene (besides the obvious) is that he says I don't even know what I'm doing here, you don't know who I am, as though visiting his mother is all about him, and what he gets out of it. Know a couple people like this.
