IT IS ABOUT A TRUE BRILLIANT BLACK MAN !!!

Love that when he said at 2:30-2:37, “during a time when racial differences hindered many relationships, our friendship became an example of what people can accomplish when we have an uninhibited meeting of the minds.” That is absolutely beautiful. ❤

He was a gifted man. I wander if they still use these innovations in the automotive industry?
I owned one of the very FIRST Fieros ( we called it Fiasco) and at one month old, the battery exploded and they had to pull the engine...............no parts were available..........a NEW Fiero had to be stripped for parts to fix mine

I think your whole context and info on this is awesome but you keep talking fine then go off in some half choking graveling voice which is extremely annoying like your from California. I'm not trying to be hateful but just honest..

John Apple was the first Black man placed on the Ford Assemblyline. He already worked for Ford, but when they decided to put a Black man on the line, they selected John Apple. He died in Detroit, MI.

Henry Ford pick Dr George Washington Carver's mind and came back with the blueprint for biofuels... Facts...

Dr. George Washington Carver was a masterful genius. It's as if he could speak to plants. He fathered what we know as bio engineering. Such a creative mind 😌
@bonitahobbs237412 күн бұрын
NO, It is recorded that George Washington Carver himself invented' fuels for automobiles from soybeans and paints inorder cars could have differing colors AND SO much more. Look into GOOGLE and George Washington Carver and the car industry. Somebody decided to try to minimize his extraordinary inventio s to just peanuts!!

Thanks for this presentation on the origins of GM brands and the role of Billy Durant in bringing them all together. And I'm only just discovering his story through KZbin videos such as this and my interest in simply family history as my grandfather was career GM in accounting in Detroit. And these days, with the popularity of all-day off-road bicycle rides on gravel roads, there really should be an annual tribute event to all of this around Flint. And it could also pay homage to Louis Chevrolet and his roots as a bicycle racer and designer.

As more African American students plan to enter various aspects of the auto industry as workers, engineers, or dealerships, this video is a must especially in STEM schools as a beginning to know their history and to chart their path toward success. It might help young people to plan a course of study to prepare for productive futures in the auto industry.
