Dead Presidents is based on the true story of a Black Vietnam vet named Haywood Kirkland. His story was pulled for this movie from a book called "Bloods an oral History of the Vietnam War by Black Veterans"

This video basically nails this whole 'ancient aliens' theory perfectly. So the whole comment section of nitwits is squealing that their bullshit has racist origins. He's right, ancient astronaut theory is implicitly racist.

I really like the direction they're taking Doctor Phosphorus, he's one of my favorite lesser-known Batman villains, so I'm really excited for him to have a prominent role in something.

15:40 the legacy includes but is not limited to the reality that many were afraid to discuss or even acknowledge the massacres. Much of what you describe as relates to recognition of Evaristo Estenoz, Pedro Ivonett, Gregorio Surín, Eugenio Lacoste, et al has occurred relatively recently on the scale that you mention. In fact what the harsh and unilateral reprisals did was to consolidate vvhite power in Cuba for decades thereafter. Whenever a Black leader would rise to prominence through character, integrity, intelligence, dedication, and solidarity with the masses that leader would be liquidated (e.g. Jesús Menendez Larrondo, Aracelio Iglesias, et al). It must also be mentioned that José Martí Jr - the son of the revolutionary leader that you mentioned at the beginning of this video, José Martí Pérez - was feted along with other military leaders (army and rural guard) at a banquet celebrating the massacres in Havana's Central Park. It must be mentioned that Cuba has only one revolution. The current revolution is a continuation of the one fought by Maceo, Banderas, Moncada.

10:10 the Morua Amendment was pushed forward because PIC was threatening the two party hegemony enjoyed by the Liberal and Conservative parties in neocolonial Cuba. Among the main appeals/attraction of the PIC was taking away the manipulation of the aforementioned two-party system that exploited Black citizens.

2:40 the United States did not declare war against Spain to help the Cubans. They went to war when they did it to wrest control of Cuba from the mambises (most evident with the exclusion of the Cuban Army of Liberation from the surrender of Santiago de Cuba). The Cuban Army of Liberation was on the verge of winning the war all by themselves.

The Nubians were more civilized than the Egyptians, in Egypt they fight it out to determine the rule, but the kushites were more civilised they used to have like a place were they train young prince and princess in various and the most shining one takes the rule.

Even the white girl has to do this comfort trope in which, for the sake of gender issues, white girls are told to make white men as comfortable as possible. But that’s another story. This story is about a black man who triumphs over his own anxiety. He learns to not serve others in that magic negro trope position so he represents the new generation who will challenge America, this trope going on in the right wing camp and the left wing camp and the obsessive pursuit of infantilizing white people just to make them comfortable.

OK I really like your channel but here to tell you she’s not a kinslayer. Hey, everyone of those men and women who went out there knew the risk they were taking and she was not directly related to any single one of them. If you’re going to call someone a kinslayer you need to have a direct line of contacts not just in the Sumption that they’re a Targaryen bastard. Thank you very much.

Not to spoil things however, the children she has with Damon that aren’t 100% Targaryen. I don’t think they will have as hard of a claim to the throne as either Jace or Joffrey.

You know, I was frustrated with Jace and the way he was coming across at first however, after listening to him, describe how he felt about the search for bastards now really degrades any claim he might have to the throne or even to his own legitimacy, which is some thing that I don’t think his mom realized it first. I totally get where hes coming from now and why he has the attitude that he does.

Maybe if Ser Crispy hadn't encouraged Alicent in her abhorrence of Rhaenyra's three older children due to their paternity, and the spreading of rumors about Rhaenyra's behavior and her sons' bastardy, not to mention Ser Crispy's setting up Harwin to practically out himself as the boys' father, the war might have been delayed, minimized or even averted. Also, who is it who preached to Jace, Luke, Aegon and Aemond that any contest of arms should be treated like a battle, even in the training yard? I have no doubt that Ser Crispy fanned the flames of discord between Alicent's sons and Rhaenyra's boys. And now he's regretful and philosophic and thinking about dying? Well, Ser Crispy, why didn't you do the House of the Dragon a huge favor and actually kill yourself after murdering Joffrey Lonmouth all those years ago before Alicent called your name?!!
