People kill me with their complaints of Roland’s sound when some of the dopest music was produced on Fantoms, if there are no gold records on your wall, then what difference does it make, what board you have it’s self explanatory, I have both and trust me connectivity wise Roland hands down. The fantom is a production board with multiple ways to make music, montage is a performance live platform , it’s really best to have both because they are beast in their own right

You're right, there ain't many videos or discussions on folk using Korg Gadget 3 on Mac, i've looked for video's to get an idea of what people think of it on the Mac compared to iOS, i'm about to pull the trigger as it's on sale as I find it so quick on iOS, I think having access to my samples on the Mac in gadgets like abu dhabi, bilbao, vancouver would be great, I do hope they open Gadget to allow us to use 3rd party plugins directly in Gadget in the future though, I still want to use Omnisphere and Massive without going to another DAW.

I agree with you about fast sampling and being able to “chop” your start and end points individually just by tapping with your finger. Would make things a lot faster, and faster means less chances of losing your inspiration before you can get the idea laid down. However, TE has always been about doing things their own way, and they often have weird somewhat obtuse methods for doing things that eschew more traditional, tried-and-true ways of working with sound. Whether that’s a good or bad thing is subjective. Personally I love the OP1 and I think it’s a modern classic that is super fun to make music with, but I’ve definitely had moments with it that were frustrating because of the idiosyncratic way it forces me to work. Great video, thanks for sharing your workflow.

I have seniors in my class that keep asking for new music to workout in, so for cool down I would play some of her music. Annelle seems to be able to cross over to all ages, my students hates much of today's music but they love Annelle's music the most of all I have in my collection. My mom was a military brat moved around, and became a entomologist and I spent much of my time outdoor with a magnify glass looking at insects and snakes. I been trying to figure out what is it that Annelle did vs anyone else that really stood out for my student in senior fitness. I notice that the music is more uplifting and vibrant in the spirit, seems heart break and sad music are more prominant, but Annelle has more hope and joy. Also the lyrics are more comprehensible in how Annelle sings them. I don't know the secret but I do find myself captivated when I enter the stream. One thing for sure, the style and sound is truly from within the truth of who Annelle is. So Far what I heard of the new drop is super dope, and very different as well. Cant wait to hear the whole song!
