A buddy of mine worked as an engineer for Tesla…said it was the worst experience ever! There might have been a better way to go about that without a doubt! However, every company does this. They're not going to keep spewing money out if they're not making the money that they should. The unfortunate side of business is that you sometimes have to let people go, or you will end up going bankrupt like MC Hammer did.
