Honestly I forget about boost

It does bring up the question... if you depress boost does it override the sector slowdown? Let's try sometime.

@@dominiquecallan148 it doesn't. I think there might be one place you can use it that helps you keep momentum enough to roll thru that sector faster than normal, which I haven't tried. I don't know even if the sensor triggers a timed-delay or if you're entering and exiting a slow section. The entry sensor is near the corner wall (there's a little chalk line on the ground actually to mark it). I wanted to try staying against the opposite wall and boosting and seeing what happens lol. I also wanted to try slowing down purposely to see if it's just time delayed.

@@nikspeeds when I was at Andretti in Orlando the fellow who worked there told me to use the boost on the downhill run as there was a similar slowdown at bottom of ramp there.

I haven’t been to On Track but im pretty sure that’s a good one because TKC has had races there. They go to the better facilities that have some racing dna. I have raced a lot of stuff around here, starting out in x30 racing in the fseries. I stopped racing expensive 2 stroke and mainly just do arrive and drive rental racing now. It’s cheap and I hate dealing with kart maintenance and transport. The bigger events I do are the Endurance Karting 6 hour races, which are usually done with a team of pals.

@@dominiquecallan148 Thanks for the info! I’m 12 now but when I was younger I ran sessions by myself at OVRP. Now as I said I run league at On Track. The 6 hours of the Northeast would be a dream for me to run one day. Can you tell me a little about that please? Once again I appreciate the help!

@@antggamingkartingcars4873 sure. www.procupkarting.com/ It's a fun series that does a bunch of races in the northeast and southeast. It's not super serious but they are big fun races with typically 25 teams on track. The skill level varies and there are many classes for awards. Pro, semi, rookie, heavy, masters, etc. lead is used to have everyone weigh appropriately. Teams can be as large or as small as you want but typically 2-4 folks per team. In any case, it's a fun thing to do with friends.

Supercharged is seperate. The Endurance Karting series is outdoor tracks. Supercharged in Edison and Wrentham also have a time trial league, which is different.

I know the 12 has a variety of modes. 4x3 onto 8k. That would work.

@@competitionkarting I felt bad because my GoPro on the 360 mount sticks up pretty high and I took out the caution tape in the pits. Karmic justice it got ran over. Plus it gives me an excuse to try out another brand.

It's always a crapshoot. We were in first with 3 laps up and our final kart finished us 9th. It's always like that, it seems. Rare to get 3/3 good karts.

I mean, never - ever.... not there. The kart had a weird thing going on with lateral left grip. It got better but it surprised me.

Yeah we did longer heats this time! Most of the required stops were done second heat.

Will says that the summer is slow and that they will do another in fall. He did say they would try to get speed 4 practice days in, however!

Yeah. Everything is showing its age and we are slower. Not a single 44 in h1 or 2.

He came in for a clean pass. You're supposed to make room when that happens not continue on your line and ram the other driver.

Yup, it is. The upstairs is apparently where they run the kid sessions slower speeds. It's a neat track and was nice to get to try it.

www.atlantamotorsportspark.com is worth a visit. Nicest track in USA in some ways.

What made the track really interesting is how slippery it was. It was the opposite of what we are used to, where the alsphalt is grippier than the plywood. It was a lot of fun figuring out how to make it work.
