I’ve never liked predominantly white interiors in Victorian homes because the Victorians were so colorful but this house is really beautiful . To suit my taste it would need more color .

Annoying video

How funny ... I do the same thing. As I am visiting a friend, I am secretly rearranging the entire room in my mind. I am moving furniture, adding wall art, lighting, pillows , throws, candlesticks, books. Its just how my mind works. Agree.. a bed without a headboard is like a day without sunshine!!!!! I also do not like collected figurines... I do have a small bronze walking rabbit with a basket on his back I use for matches on the fireplace. And one large bronze rabbit sculpture on two books with a candle holder... but thats it. I was just thinking of you Kelly and your blog. I am a subscriber ,but don't seem to have anything coming through for a long time. Are you still doing home blogs? I love your home and enjoyed watching all the photos of it during this podcast , while watching on utube

I really hope you see this comment. I dream of fixing up an old house just as you did, so I have stumbled upon this tour two or three times. Tonight, I was watching the movie "Rumor has it" on Netflix, and I noticed them stating the setting was Pasadena. Keep in mind I live in Ohio. I remember vaguely you saying this home was located in Pasadena. Thats really one of the only times I heard of Pasadena, so that is what I thought about when I heard it. And sure enough, there is a scene in the movie where your house is seen plain as day! I said there is no way, but upon further investigation, it is your house! That is so neat to me and I think it is so cool for you to own such a neat property!

regarding the"picture thing"..... Get a binder from the dollar store and start ripping out pictures and images from magazines that speak to you... have a section for kitchen, bedroom, bathroom etc. You will soon find your style preference. Then start collecting items to get there.
