A great coach gives a space to pause, to think and to reflect and explore decisions, actions and relationships. More fulfilled people make better leaders . Katherine will be speaking at this year's fully digital Association for Coaching conference 2020. coachingintheworkplace.org/product/leading-with-the-coach-approach

great video, i was reading coaching for performance which led me Tim Gallwey, i really love the concept of giving the leadership back to the clientee. I'm just wondering; how far do you go with that? I imagine you cant abandon instruction all together right? any help would be cool

I have the Inner Game of Work, and the Inner Game of Stress, and I have learned a lot with the amazing approach these books have. I respect Tim Galley a lot and I use the Inner Game with my students, and with the teachers I help to prepare in order to teach Spanish as a foreign language. Excellent video. Thank you for sharing it here!

this is inspiring. It's not about what you do as a coach, but how to help the coachee do what they do as a learner.

Interesting interview but why does coaching lead to being 'good fathers'? The inference is that it's only men who are leaders. It's almost a slip of the tongue that uncovers an unfortunate and underlying presumption. I realise that men hold the majority of exec roles, but this doesn't help. Carole McKenzie
