I never realized Bill Conti did the American Gladiators theme, I can certainly hear it now. This theme belongs up there right beside Star Wars, Conan the Barbarian, Superman, and anything by James Horner.

I have been searching for this film for a while now. I watched it as a kid on a prerecorded VHS tape. Nuff said lol

Sounds so like Star Wars and Superman but nevertheless still a brilliant score by Bill Conti, takes me right back to my childhood.

This movie is a piece of history. A masterpiece. In a time when films were crafted. Amazing soundtrack that told the story, performed by the orchestra of Munich.

The beginning and the end of the film are really good and show how much potential there is behind the brand. The middle part unfortunately deviates too much from the topic, but is at least solidly staged for what it is. a film in this style that takes place purely on Eternia would have been great.

This movie doesnt deserve all the hate it gets. I think for what it was and the troubled production it had, it turned out great. Also, I had a HUGE crush on Meg Foster (Evil-Lyn) in this.

Since this movie was based on the Masters of the Universe toyline itself and not the Filmation cartoon, its theme wasn't going to be an extended, epic rendition of the cartoon's iconic theme. Unlike its contemporaries, the Transformers and G.I. Joe, whose animated movies were based on the cartoon.

Quite rare Canadian obscurity. Never released on DVD. It used to pop up on Bravo Canada and Showcase Canada in the 90's. I haven't seen it in at least 25 years. Thanks for this.
