We forget how obnoxious and arrogant western musicians can be until we meet these women and realize that talent doesn’t mean you have to be a jerk! These women being very likable makes their music more enjoyable for me.

It's crazy how they all seem so genuine in everything that they do (that I've seen). Herman Li's had them on stream a few times and they were the same way they are her, on stage, interviews; all of it. It seems like they enjoy writing and touring more than anything seeing as they've released an album pretty much an album a year and tour non-stop to support the albums and are still so genuinely happy which you can see on stage with their gigantic smiles while they're playing. It's almost like wherever they are, they're home.

It's Sunday afternoon in the UK and I can't think of a better thing than spending 27 minutes listerning to Saiki chating casually like this about the sort of things we all find fascinating about her. Thank you na irOn. Strangely, something else I find ineresting about her is the way that when she walks on stage, especially during the US tour, she dosen't acknowedge the audience at all. Unlike the other members of the band. She's her own woman and I just love it.

Being a new maidiac this video is so wonderful to see. Seeing them behind the scenes cooking, resting from practice and preparing for rehearsals for their upcoming activities is a reminder how these simple ladies work hard to move towards their goal. I’m happy they let us see this side. Now while I’m very much into protecting their privacy these little snippets they share with us make them more human and they endear themselves to us fans. By the way I feel Akane’s pain when her nikujaga got too salty. As I cook at home too sometimes with Japanese ingredients I too wasn’t able to judge how much “tsuyu” I should use for my dish and ended up making it salty. 😅

Saiki is a great singer but also can be a funny little comedian. Makes me crack up listening to her stories about birth mark moles 🤣 Thanks for posting her Instagram live 👍🏻
