I had that same landing in 2010. Was seated in right rear of plane but they moved me for weight distribution to left front behind first class. Saw the same view on a sunny day. Seeing Manhatton and the statue of liberty was awesome. My brother picked me up and was parked by Citi field. I found a penny on the ground. The next day we went to the cemetery where his wife was buried the year before. He showed me Babe Ruth's plot there and I put that penny on the headstone where people had put baseballs and other things. Will never forget that visit.

Our family got a chance to fly to NYC. A sea of skyscrapers. We are out west in Seattle and San Francisco. Some people out here never have been to the east coast before. This is very nice❤🗽🏙😂🤣

My first visit to NYC was decades ago and I arrived, from Toronto, by Greyhound ... my first sighting, from the bus, of the Manhattan skyline left me gobsmacked. Thrilling. Well, this footage leaves me pretty gobsmacked too!!! Superb. NYC, one of my favourite cities. Thank you.

I love flying in and out of LGA for views of the Manhattan skyline and this arguably one of the best approaches into LGA I've seen. You really got lucky with the weather and approach.

Wife and i flew Miami to Newark. Then commuter flight to Islip on Long Island. 6 seater and just us and pilot. He flew us over Manhattan instead of ocean path when he learned it was our first trip to the city. (You could do this pre 9-11) It was an absolutely stunning experience for this small town Kentucky boy. Will always love NYC. Most beautiful city on earth.

I recently flew on an Air Canada plane from Toronto Pierson to LGA. I was sitting on the right side of the aircraft instead of the left. The view wasn't quite as spectacular, but still great! Thanks for the wonderful video!

I was born in Brooklyn, 1948, Redhook, just off the East River, we could see lower Manhattan from our back windows. That video flew right over my old neighborhood. It was a joy to see. I left NY 35 years ago, I love NY, I miss it, especially the food.

Holy metropolis, Batman. Chills ensue. This is the history of modern mankind right before our eyes. It's actually kind of dumfounding. Wow. Great video. And great approach and landing, captain.
