Okay now I know what Brandon Sanderson books to start with, the mistborne series!!! I’m similar I don’t really track new releases! Also I’m intrigued by feathers so vicious, I’ve never read dark romance for the same reasons as you but since you liked it maybe that’ll be the book that makes me give it a chance!

@@DEBateBookz Yes Mistborn is a great start to his series! I heard from multiple people it's a great introduction to his world ☺️ there's little romance but the worldbuilding and plot really shine through! Feathers so Vicious was a tough one! HUGE SPOILERS FOR MITSBORN ERA 1, STAY AWAY IMMEDIATELY IF YOU HAVE NOT READ THE 3 BOOKS OF THE ORIGINAL TRILOGY DO NOT READ THIS COMMENT Vin : One of my favorite heroines in fiction. Life was difficult for her: many misfortunes happened to her, from the death of loved ones (Kelsier, Elend, etc.), abuse in her childhood and adolescence, being manipulated by a Psychopath Stalker (Zane), being manipulated all her life by a Dark God (Ruin). And despite everything, she never gave up and pushed herself to the limit to do the right thing to her people. And all of this is why Vin is inspiring to me.

Well, I have many things to comment: 1) I also adore this book with all my soul. 2) Zane was an excellent villain and an excellent Shadow Antagonist for Vin. He is a reflection of what could have happened to Vin if she had allowed herself to be consumed by her own darkness and tragic past. In short, Zane was a definitive test for Vin, a fight for our protagonist against her inner demons. 2) Vin and Elend are one of my favorite couples in fiction. How adorable they are together and how healthy they are is so cute. 3) Vin is one of my favorite female characters. The complexity of his character, his growth and his charisma are incredible.
@ThrivingWithKat4 ай бұрын
YAY!! This makes me so happy and I agree with all your points! I wish we had more of Zane, I loved that Vin met someone who's a challenge for her. And I love Vin and Elend too and really loved Elend's growth. Excited to see where things go in book 3! 😊😊

@@ThrivingWithKat His books are really good in terms of magic systems and worldbuilding. Both are his biggest strengths. I finished Mistborn trilogy, Elantris and warbreaker. Now, i'm on the ways of kings. I also think Brandon's biggest weakness is a lack of character development but still, some of his characters are well-written.
