now i want to do a playthrough with a party full of just bards 😅 but seriously, ever since i multiclassed my paladin tav into a bard my favorite thing to do in the game has been walking up to npcs playing music and joining them in performance.

There’s one instrument you forgot: no instrument equipped. A bard with no instrument can whistle.

Возникла проблема при выборе доступных рас, а точнее я не вижу возможности ограничения рас отдельно для каждого персонажа в отряде. К примеру я хочу чтобы первый персонаж был только человеком, а второй только роботом, как мне это сделать? Как я понял колонка "race" у персонажа ни на что не влияет, зачем она вообще нужна. Работают ограничения лишь для всех персонажей сразу.

I don't realy use bards and when I do I've never use the insturments. I had no idea there were full length proper songs. What else have i overlooked in this game?

Everytime i see a bard playing i take the violine and start playing aside of him. The npc do ofc react and you perform to together. Cant tell you how much i love that fact! Things you never see in Major Studio AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Game<3

Missing one instrument. If a character has musical instrument proficiency but not one equipped the character can be told to whistle a tune.

I thought once that some of the Songs felt rather empty, that they were kind of disjointed and had open spots that seemed to slow the pace of the song or just had only a basic rhythm to them that only kept a beat and nothing more. This was why, because they're a part of a greater whole. And that, is simply amazing game design.

I think Astarion definitely plays violin, or piano. Gale absolutely plays the flute because iykyk lol. Pre-fixed engine Karlach sings or whistler since she would just burn whatever instrument she'd be pkaying. Post engine-fix Karlach would play the lute I think. A hearty instrument for a hearty gal! Shart is a lyre. And Bae'zel the drum. Wyll dances for evwryone whole they play, and Tav does whatever. Durge is off eating roasted dwarf thighs or something

You're actually missing *one* crucial instrument. Volo's whistle. He only does it during the camp party after you save the tieflings from the goblin camp in Act 1.
