So, my piss poor tier 3 PERS is a mistake according to you. Well, if you truly believe that you are making decisions for the betterment of our students, you are sorely mistaken. Start reducing the retirement of excellent teachers (who are already underpaid btw) and you will start losing those teachers. I think a better approach would be to find out why, in the greatest bull market in history, the OREGON treasury has managed to earn paltry returns. I can out earn these idiots with my eyes closed. Proper investing of PERS funds would have eliminated the problem a long time ago. Stay away from my PERS, or better yet, come to my home and try to take it from me.....
