I miss my 1.4x TC that was part of my travel kit when I shot with Canon cameras and the 70-200mm f/4L IS lens. This light accessory provided a longer reach at very little additional weight and cost only 1-stop of exposure. It worked really great with my 7D Mark-2 camera. I did not like the AF capability of the 70-200mm f/4L IS lens when adapted to my Sony cameras. I used several different adapters but, none could match the AF of the native Sony lens.

That’s right 1.4x TC is great lightweight solution , and really very little is decreasing image quality.

my experience was sometimes stopped autofocus need turn off the camera and turn on again. (Sony A7RII + MC 11 + Canon EF 70 - 200mm f4)

I would not trust in this combo for professional work, - majority Sigma lenses work much better with MC-11

This is not a criticism, or me trying to appear smart - - but why did you film at 100fps? I would have thought that a lower frame rate would be better for low light filming, ie the shutter being open a fraction longer allowing more light in. Although having said that, it's superb bit of video and has plainly worked very well.

Hi Dragan - I am so sorry, just noticed your comment. As far I remember the max the gain was sometimes at max 24db - a settings where purely AUTO - I didn't bother at that stage with manual settings. Really want to see how this performs "out of the box" Regarding low light performance this camcorder is not going to beat for instance Canon 80d. I was recording recently in dual camera set up ( Sony AX700 and Canon80d) and that was a clear conclusion.
