As long as there's no jimping I'll buy it. I'd like a functional spine please, like the tanimboca puukko. A 4¾" tanimboca puukko would be awesome. Just longer, not bigger.

Mr Janich is a knowledgeable man who has given greatly to the martial field. Perhaps history comes full circle, as the design was also conceived by W.E. Fairbairn, after WWII for use in Cypress, and nicknamed the "Fairbairn Cobra". Original photos show it may have had a slighted more curved blade. Excellent looking design for certain applications. Hats off to the people who brought this project to production.

Nice! I've used the heck out of my Brakimo, but it is too heavy/thick for some things, so I wind up going to a different knife for those tasks. To get a thinner one? Sign me up!

Please..........Always state a physical measurement when stating something is 'bigger' or 'wider' than something else. The words 'bigger' or 'wider' don't have relative meaning to someone other than yourself. A physical measurement leaves no questions and allows actual comparison between two knives. A 'Girth' measurement, taken around the handle and scales, is very useful when discussing handle size. I have the TOPS D-FLY Canadian Bushcrafter and wanted to know how the girth is different between the two knives. Guess I'll just buy the TOPS BOB and find out. FYI...........TOPS leather sheaths are always over oiled to a point they foul the micarta handle scales terribly. Shame on you TOPS. Love their knives...........Hate their leather sheaths.
