Vegans are the world’s most beautiful people! Thanks for all you are doing for our planet. The biggest contributor to global climate change is animal agriculture.

I have noticed that it tends to have dieback for some reason after pruning to the nodes like you would on most plants. I see it on a lot of them where it didn't seem to like being pruned and then has a bunch of dead woody stems after the dieback. It is a nice plant though.

These are beautiful. I took cuttings off a Catalina silverlace to propagate it. It worked. It’s hard to find but once I saw it I took the opportunity to get cuttings.

You should use lippia frog fruit which is the plant Kurapia was developed from. It’s the true native. It brings in many beneficials.

What is the difference between point source irrigation and grid irrigation and why did the contractor use this method ? Was there soil testing done to determine the soil absorption rate ? If not, how does the client determine the drip run time ? Huge dry stream bed there must be a lot of rainwater coming off that house whenever it rains. Pretty decent looking job, I look forward to seeing it after a 2-3 months grow in period.
@creationslandscapedesigns25 күн бұрын
Point source is where the drip emitters are at each plant. Grid on the other hand has holes in the drip lines every so many feet (usually 12-24"). There was no soil testing done. The run time is automatic. Most soils in the area are clay. There is a descent amount of water but the dry stream turned out a little bigger then initially intended. I will take an updated video in 3 months.

Hi, I’m curious about your method. Do you sheet mulch and wait for cardboard and wood chip to break down for a few months or do you just go straight to ripping out the turf and plant natives the same day?
@creationslandscapedesignsАй бұрын
Usually the contractors will just shovel out the grass.

Simple and conservative design concept . How did the contractor run the irrigation ? Point source drip emitter or in a drip grid for the front yard ?

Ive been having a hard time taking on jobs because I can't find a program that helps me draw digitally. I do everything by hand as well and I've stopped taking jobs because I don't currently have the time to draw anymore. I can come up with designs in my mind but getting them quick on paper is hard. With auto cad, how could I learn it? Do you suggest me going back to school to learn programs?
@creationslandscapedesigns2 ай бұрын
At least in the area that I live in there are junior colleges that offer AutoCAD courses. I would highly recommend taking a course. Doing the designs digitally will be a huge time saver.
