Anyone who leaves the faith never knew Christ truly. What is there to go back? Jesus said to Peter and his disciples will you guys leave to? And peter replied where will we go? When you encounter the truth you ENCOUNTER it. There is a reason why christans outside the west would rather die then deny Christ because they know him truly. To many Christians in the west are indeed just religious and lukewarm plus they are in churches with no anointing or leaders teaching the word of God. Sadly we are in a generation where people don't even know what faith is or how to operate in the level of hearing from God, being patient in suffering to receive what he has for us, etc.
